Corion Innovative Paints develops high-technology coatings with production in São Paulo (Brazil) and Milan (Italy) since 2013, sold across South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Each product is applied like ordinary premium paintwork — yet performs a continuous function built into the dry film: what Corion calls an Active Coating.

More than a decade ago I started Corion with one stubborn conviction: a wall can do far more than decorate. That idea gave birth to the active coating — surfaces that protect, sanitise and illuminate after they dry.

Every product here went through years of research, patents and testing. We deliberately stay off the retail shelf: we would rather build serious partnerships, in Brazil and abroad.

We remain faithful to the principle that has moved us since day one.

Silver is one of the most studied materials in science — and its use has accompanied humankind for millennia. Records show that, as far back as antiquity, peoples stored water and food in silver vessels to preserve them longer. Centuries later, science gave the phenomenon a name.

    Oligodynamic effect

    Swiss scientist Carl Wilhelm von Nägeli describes the action of metal ions such as silver on microorganisms, even at very low concentrations.
